What can counselling help with?
Individuals and couples come to me with a range of issues, but these are some of the common ones that counselling, and I, can help you with:
- Attachment;
- Boarding school syndrome;
- Challenges at college, home, university or work;
- Childhood neglect, abuse and sexual abuse;
- Confidence and self-esteem;
- Creative and professional development;
- Depression and anxiety;
- Grief, loss, bereavement and the ending of relationships;
- Life changes such as the menopause, caring for elderly parents or retirement;
- Relationship problems such as communication, the impact of affairs, family dynamics and sexual issues;
- Questions about sexuality and sexual identity, and gender.
I can also have experience of the challenges associated with being in a military family and can draw on that and my training to help you navigate what you’re experiencing if you are living in or ever lived in one too.
If you don’t see your concern on the list, please feel free to contact me to see how I might be able to support you.
